Ken Moran

U.S. Marine who enlisted right out of high school and served 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Spent nine years in Air Operations as an avionics bench mechanic.

Helped establish the avionics shop at ARDCO, launched his own business at UAA, and later contributed his expertise at AASI.

Mike Moran

Inspired by watching his father fly Hueys in the Marine Corps, Mike earned his A&P in 1987 and built his career through hands-on experience across the industry.

Ryan spent summers at AASI with Grandpa Ken working generator control units, later moving into CSD and hydraulics — turning petty-cash summer work into real shop experience.
